Heavy Rain Possible In Texas Hill Country
Some areas of the region could see up to three inches of rain as thunderstorms form over the region on Thursday.
AUSTIN, TX — Part of the region could see heavy rain on Thursday night, with some parts of the Hill Country bracing for rainfall amounts of up to three inches.
According to the National Weather Service, a weak front is expected to stall over the Hill Country, leading to a high chance of rain and scattered thunderstorms today into tonight.
"Some of the rains could be heavy with amounts of 1 to 3 inches possible," meteorologists wrote. "Travelers of the Hill Country should watch for flooding of low water crossings."

But not everyone in the Austin area will see rain, with chances of precipitation at 50 percent on Thursday. By Friday, the chances of rain drop to 30 percent.
