Here's Your List Of Interstate 35 Lane Closures, Oct 26-Nov 2

AUSTIN, TEXAS — Each week, the Texas Department of Transportation releases a list of its scheduled Interstate 35 lane closures. The list is a useful tool for motorists to negotiate around road repair and improvements projects or plot another route altogether to avoid such areas.

And so, here are your I-35 lane closure alerts for Oct. 26 until Nov 2.

I-35 AT FM 3406

• I-35 reduced to one lane in each direction at FM 3406. Northbound closure is Wednesday and Thursday night only.
  • From 9 p.m. until 5 a.m. Sunday, October 28 through Thursday, Nov. 1
• Various southbound I-35 frontage road closures at FM 3406
  • From 9 p.m. until 5 a.m. Sunday, October 28 through Thursday, Nov. 1
• Various closures in each direction FM 3406 across I-35
  • From 9 p.m. until 5 a.m. Sunday Oct. 28 through Thursday, Nov. 1

I-35 FROM US 79 TO SH 45 NORTH

• Northbound I-35 frontage road one lane closed between Gattis School Road and RM 620
  • From 8 a.m. until 3 p.m. Monday, Oct. 29 through Friday, Nov. 2

I-35 FROM RUNDBERG LANE TO US 290 EAST

• Powell Ln closed at southbound I-35. Use Wonsley Drive.
  • Through winter 2018
• Clock Tower Drive closed at northbound US 183
  • Through winter 2018
• Carver Ave closed at southbound US 183
  • Through winter 2018
• Southbound I-35 frontage road closed at Huntland Drive. Use Huntland Drive and US 290 E/RM 2222.
  • From 11 p.m. until 5 a.m. Thursday, October 25 through Friday, Oct. 26
• Northbound I-35 frontage road right lane closed between La Posada Drive and E St Johns Avenue
  • From 7 a.m. until 7 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 27 and Sunday, Oct. 28
• Northbound I-35 frontage road right lane closed between Norwood Park Drive and Fenelon Drive
  • From 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 27
• I-35 frontage road left lane closed between US 183 and Little Walnut Creek
  • From 9 p.m. until 5 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 28
• South to northbound turnaround at US 183 closed. Frontage road shifts to new lanes.
  • From 9 p.m. until 5 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 28 through Thursday, Nov. 1
• Southbound I-35 frontage road closed at Huntland Drive. Detour to Middle Fiskville Road.
  • From midnight until 5 a.m. Tuesday, Oct 29
• Southbound US 183 closed at I-35. Traffic will detour to the frontage road and re-enter I-35 before Cameron Road.
  • From 11 p.m. until 5 a.m. Monday, October 29

I-35 AT OLTORF STREET

• North and southbound I-35 reduced to one lane between Woodward Avenue exit #232 and the following entrance ramp.
  • From 10 p.m. until 6 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 28
• Northbound I-35 frontage road left lane closed approaching William Cannon Drive
  • From 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 27 and Monday, Oct. 29
• Southbound I-35 frontage road left lane closed after Woodland Avenue to the next entrance ramp
  • From 8 p.m. until 5 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 28
• Northbound I-35 frontage road left lane closed by flaggers between Royal Hill Drive and next entrance ramp
  • From 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. Monday, Oct. 29 through Friday, Nov. 2
• Northbound I-35 frontage road left lane closed between SH 71 and Woodward Street
  • From 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. Monday, Oct. 29 through Friday, Nov. 2
• Northbound I-35 frontage road right lane closed approaching Oltorf Street

• Northbound I-35 right lane closed after the William Cannon Dr exit ramp
  • From 9 p.m. until 5 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 28 through Tuesday, Oct. 30
• Northbound I-35 frontage road left lane closed between William Cannon Drive and Nelms Drive
  • From 9 p.m. until 5 a.m. Sunday Oct. 28 through Thursday, Nov. 1
• Northbound I-35 frontage road left lane closed at Stassney Lane
  • From 9 p.m. until 5 a.m. Sunday Oct. 28 through Thursday, Nov. 1
• Southbound I-35 frontage road left lane closed at William Cannon Drive
• From 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. Monday, Oct. 29 through Friday, Nov. 2
• Northbound I-35 frontage road right lane closed between Boggy Creek Drive and William Cannon Drive
  • From 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. Monday Oct. 29 through Friday, Nov. 2
• Southbound I-35 reduced lane between William Cannon Dr and Slaughter Lane
  • From 9 p.m. until 5 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 30
• Alternating southbound I-35 frontage road closures between Battle Bend Boulevard and Williamson Creek
  • From 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 31 through Friday, Nov. 2
• Northbound I-35 reduced to one lane approaching William Cannon Drive
  • From 10 p.m. until 5 a.m. Monday Oct. 29
• Alternating northbound I-35 frontage road closures between Stassney Lane and Williamson Creek
  • From 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. Monday, Oct. 29 through Wednesday, Oct 31

MAINTENANCE CLOSURES

• Southbound I-35 Airport Blvd (exit #237) closed
  • From 8 p.m. until 5 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 31
• Southbound I-35 frontage road left lane closed between Reinli Street and 46th Street including bypass lanes.
  • From 8 p.m. until 5 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 31
• Alternating southbound I-35 single lane closures between US 290 East and Airport Boulevard. Expect delays. Use caution.
  • From 8 p.m. until 5 a.m. Wednesday and Thursday nights
• Reduced to one northbound I-35 lane and one southbound lane between Holly Street and Manor Road due to paving. Ramps will be closed as needed.
  • From 9 p.m. until 5 a.m. Sunday through Thursday night
