Here's Your List Of Interstate 35 Lane Closures: Oct. 20-26, 2018

AUSTIN, TEXAS — Each week, Texas Department of Transportation officials issue a list of Interstate 35 lane closures designed not only to apprise the motoring public to the breadth of their work but to help drivers avoid these parts for a more seamless commute.

With that said, here are the I-35 lane closures for Oct. 20 to Oct. 26. An added note this week. The dates of some of the following planned closures could change given the possibility of more rainfall.

Here's that aforementioned list:

I-35 AT FM 3406

• I-35 reduced to one lane in each direction under FM 3406
  • From 9 p.m. until 5 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 21 through Monday, Oct. 22
• Northbound I-35 reduced to one lane under FM 3406
  • From 9 p.m. until 5 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 23 through Thursday, Oct. 25
• Various northbound I-35 frontage road closures at FM 3406
  • From 9 p.m. until 5 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 24 through Thursday, Oct. 25
• Various westbound FM 3406 closures between I-35 and Chisholm Trail Road
  • From 9 p.m. until 5 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 24 through Thursday, Oct. 25

I-35 FROM RUNDBERG LANE TO US 290 EAST

• Powell Lane closed at southbound I-35. Use Wonsley Drive.
  • Through winter 2018
• Clock Tower Drive closed at northbound US 183
  • Through winter 2018
• Carver Avenue closed at southbound US 183
  • Through winter 2018
• Northbound I-35 exit for Rundberg Lane (#241) closed and I-35 frontage road left lane closed between US 183 and Little Walnut Creek. The south to northbound U-turn at US 183 will also be closed. Frontage road shifts to new lanes, weather permitting.
  • From 9 p.m. until 5 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 21 through Thursday, Oct. 25
• Southbound I-35 frontage road closed at Huntland Drive Use Huntland Drive and US 290 E/Koenig Lane.
  • From 11 p.m. until 5 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 25 through Friday, Oct. 26
• Southbound US 183 closed near I-35 traffic will detour to the frontage road
  • From 11 p.m. until 5 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 25

I-35 AT OLTORF STREET

• Northbound I-35 frontage road left lane closed between Woodward Street and Royal Hill Drive. Watch for flaggers.
  • From 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. Monday, Oct. 22 through Friday, Oct. 26
• I-35 closed in both directions between Oltorf Street and Woodland Avenue. Use the frontage roads.
  • From 11:45 p.m. until 5 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 24
• Southbound I-35 reduced to one lane between Woodland Avenue exit (#232) and the following entrance ramp
  • From 10 p.m. until 5 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 25

I-35 FROM STASSNEY LANE TO WILLIAM CANNON DRIVE

• Northbound I-35 frontage road left lane closed between William Cannon Drive and Stassney Lane
  • From 9 p.m. until 5 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 21 through Monday, Oct. 22
• Northbound I-35 right lane closed between Slaughter Lane and the William Cannon Drive exit.
  • From 9 p.m. until 5 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 21 through Thursday, Oct. 25
• Northbound I-35 frontage road right lane closed between Boggy Creek Drive and William Cannon Drive
  • From 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. Monday, Oct. 22 through Friday, Oct. 26
• Southbound I-35 frontage road left lane closed at William Cannon Drive
  • From 9 p.m. until 5 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 21 through Monday, Oct. 22
• Southbound I-35 reduced to one lane between William Cannon Drive and the Slaughter Creek overpass
  • From 9 p.m. until 5 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 23 through Wednesday, Oct. 24
• Southbound I-35 frontage road left lane closed at Stassney Lane
  • From 9 p.m. until 5 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 24 through Thursday, Oct. 25
• Southbound I-35 frontage road right lane closed between Stassney Lane and William Cannon Drive
  • From 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 24
• Northbound I-35 frontage road left lane closed between William Cannon Drive and Nelms Drive
  • From 9 p.m. until 5 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 24 through Thursday, Oct. 25 and from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 25

MAINTENANCE CLOSURES

• Southbound I-35 frontage road reduced to one lane between FM 2001 and Robert S. Light Boulevard
  • From 9 p.m. until 5 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 21 through Monday, Oct. 22
• Southbound I-35 frontage road reduced to one lane between Kohlers Crossing and FM 1626
  • From 9 p.m. until 5 a.m. Monday, Oct. 22 through Tuesday, Oct. 23
