Deceased: Jeremiah Dayohn Johnson, Black male, born March 16, 1990
The Austin Police Department (APD) has identified Jeremiah Johnson as the deceased in the October 3 homicide on Longspur Blvd.
At approximately 7:22 p.m., Austin 9-1-1 received calls reporting that multiple gunshots were heard in the area of 502 W. Longspur Blvd. APD officers arrived on scene and observed a male subject lying on the ground with apparent gunshot wounds. Lifesaving measures were attempted, but unfortunately, Dr. Abraham pronounced the male deceased at 7:36 p.m.

On Monday, October 4, The Travis County Medical Examiner’s office conducted an autopsy and determined the cause of death to be multiple gunshot wounds and the manner of death, homicide.
