How You Can Help North Texas Tornado Victims
The City of Dallas Emergency Assistance Fund and the American Red Cross are taking donations to assist victims of the tornado destruction.
DALLAS, TX — Many Texans on safe land looking at images of destruction left in the wake of a tornado that ripped through Dallas on Sunday evening wonder how they might help their neighbors.
Here are a couple of ways to assist:
- The City of Dallas Emergency Assistance Fund will be utilized to help victims of the tornado that injured at least six people and left destroyed homes and buildings in its wake. Donations can be made at dallemerasstfund.kimbia.com/dallemerasstfund.
- The American Red Cross also is deploying resources to assist the displaced, particularly from its emergency shelter at the Bachman Rec Center in Dallas. Emergency workers also are supplying food to tornado victims. Donations can be made via the organization's website at www.redcross.org/local/texas/north-texas.html.
