Interstate 35 Lane Closures For April 20-26, 2019

AUSTIN, TX — Each week, the Texas Department of Transportation releases a list of lane closures along Interstate 35 as crews perform scheduled work. The list is designed to give drivers a heads up in knowing where there might be congestion, enabling motorists to find alternate routes or avoid the areas altogether.

The latest TxDot list of lane closures is for April 20 to 26:

I-35 AT CR 305

• I-35 frontage road left lane closed in both directions at CR 305
  • Through April 2019
• Northbound I-35 reduced to one lane nightly at the CR 305 bridge nightly
  • Tuesday, April 23 and Wednesday, April 24 from 9 p.m. until 5 a.m.
• Southbound I-35 reduced to one lane nightly from entrance ramp 277 to the CR 305 bridge
  • Monday, April 22 and Tuesday, April 23 from 9 p.m. until 5 a.m.

I-35 FROM RUNDBERG LANE TO US 290 EAST

• Powell Lane closed at I-35
  • Through April 2019
• St. Johns Avenue reduced to one lane in both directions across I-35
  • Until further notice
• Southbound US 183 left lane closed nightly from I-35 to Providence Avenue
  • Monday, April 22 through Friday, April 26 from 9 p.m. until 5 a.m.
• Northbound I-35 reduced to one lane nightly from US 290 East to St. Johns Avenue
  • Monday, April 22 through Thursday, April 25 from 10 p.m. until 5 a.m.
• Look for north and southbound I-35 frontage road closures nightly at the US 183 frontage road
  • Wednesday, April 24 through Friday, April 26 from 9 p.m. until 5 a.m.
• Northbound US 183 reduced to one lane nightly from the Cameron Road entrance ramp to the Georgian Drive entrance ramp
  • Wednesday, April 24 through Friday, April 26 from 9 p.m. until 5 a.m.
• Northbound I-35 frontage road left lane closed from Camino La Costa to St. Johns Avenue
  • Beginning Thursday, April 25 at 9 p.m. until further notice
• Northbound I-35 reduced to one lane nightly from US 290 East to St. Johns Avenue
  • Thursday, April 25 and Friday, April 26 from 9 p.m. until 5 a.m.

I-35 AT OLTORF STREET

• Southbound I-35 right shoulder closed nightly from Woodland Avenue to Oltorf Street. Watch for flaggers.
  • Starting Monday, April 22 through Saturday, April 27 from 8 p.m. until 6 a.m.

I-35 FROM STASSNEY LANE TO WILLIAM CANNON DRIVE

• Southbound I-35 frontage road right lane closed daily from William Cannon Drive exit ramp (228) to Boggy Creek Drive
  • Monday, April 22 through Friday, April 26 from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m.
• Northbound I-35 right lane closed nightly from Nelms Drive to Stassney Lane
  • Monday, April 22 through Wednesday, April 24 from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m.
