Interstate 35 Lane Closures Dec. 14-20, 2019

AUSTIN, TX — State transportation officials have released their latest list of road closures for the period between Dec. 14-20.

Scheduled closings include:

• North I-35 reduced to one lane from FM 487 to CR 305
  • Sunday, Dec. 15 from 9 p.m. until 5 a.m.
• Southbound I-35 reduced to one lane from Hill Road to CR 305
  • Sunday, Dec. 15 from 9 p.m. until 5 a.m.

I-35 FROM CORN HILL (BUD STOCKTON LOOP) TO FM 972

• North and southbound I-35 frontage road reduced to one lane from FM 972 to Bud Stockton Loop
  • Until further notice

I-35 FROM RM 1431 TO FM 3406 (NORTHBOUND)

• Northbound I-35 frontage road reduced to one lane from FM 3406 (Old Settlers Boulevard) to RM 1431 (University Boulevard)
  • Through late 2020

I-35 AT PARMER LANE

• Southbound I-35 frontage road left lane closed daily at Parmer Lane
  • Through early 2020

I-35 FROM RUNDBERG LANE TO US 290 EAST

• Northbound I-35 frontage road left lane closed from Camino La Costa to St. Johns Avenue
  • Through mid-2020
• Northbound US 183 frontage road left lane closed from I-35 to Gessner Drive
  • Through mid-2020
• North to southbound I-35 U-turn closed nightly at US 183
  • Wednesday, Dec. 11 through Thursday, Dec. 19 from 9 p.m. until 5 a.m.
• Northbound I-35 left lane closed nightly from US 290 East to Rutherford Lane
  • Sunday, Dec. 15 through Thursday, Dec. 19 from 9 p.m. until 5 a.m.
• Southbound US 183 frontage road left lane closed nightly from Carver Avenue to Cameron Road. The Cameron Road exit ramp will also be closed.
  • Sunday, Dec. 15 through Thursday, Dec. 19 from 9 p.m. until 5 a.m.
• Northbound I-35 frontage road left lane closed nightly from Hermitage Drive to the Rundberg Lane entrance ramp
  • Sunday, Dec. 15 through Thursday, Dec. 19 from 9 p.m. until 5 a.m.
• Southbound I-35 frontage road right lane closed nightly from Barwood Park to Powell Lane
  • Sunday, Dec. 15 through Thursday, Dec. 19 from 9 p.m. until 5 a.m.
• Southbound I-35 left two lanes closed nightly from Rutherford Lane to Huntland Drive
  • Sunday, Dec. 15 through Thursday, Dec. 19 from 10 p.m. until 5 a.m.
• Southbound I-35 frontage road closed nightly from Blackson Avenue to St. Johns Avenue
  • Wednesday, Dec. 18 through Thursday, Dec. 19 from 9 p.m. until 5 a.m.
• North and southbound Powell Lane closed continuously at the I-35 frontage road
  • Wednesday, Dec. 18 at 9 p.m. through Friday, Dec. 20 at 5 a.m.

I-35 FROM STASSNEY LANE TO WILLIAM CANNON DRIVE

• North and southbound I-35 mainlanes reduced to two lanes at Slaughter Lane
  • Sunday, Dec. 15 from 10 p.m. until 5 a.m.

I-35 AT POSEY ROAD

• Posey Road bridge closed at I-35
  • Until further notice
• Northbound I-35 exit #199 for Posey Road and exit #200 for Centerpoint Road are closed
  • Until further notice
• North and southbound I-35 left lane closed nightly from York Creek Road to Centerpoint Road
  • Sunday, Dec. 15 through Tuesday, Dec. 17 from 9 p.m. until 5 a.m.
• Northbound I-35 left lane closed from Blanco River to Yarrington Road
  • Monday, Dec. 16 from 9 p.m. until 5 a.m.
• Northbound I-35 left lane closed from Yarrington Road exit #210 to Yarrington Road
  • Tuesday, Dec. 17 from 9 p.m. until 5 a.m.

I-35 MAINTENANCE CLOSURES

• Northbound I-35 frontage road median closed daily from SH 45 to Wells Branch Parkway
  • Monday, Dec. 2 through Friday, Dec. 20 from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m.
• Southbound I-35 exit ramp closed at Main Street (#221)
  • Wednesday, Dec. 18 from 9 p.m. until 5 a.m.
