Interstate 35 Lane Closures For Feb. 15-21, 2020

AUSTIN, TX — Think of this as a Valentines Day traveling guide for motorists. The Texas Department of Transportation released its latest list of weekly lane closures along Interstate 35 on Friday — yielding a helpful primer for driver seeking to avoid potential congestion along the key artery.

The latest list of scheduled lane closures covers the period between Feb. 15-21. So watch out for those lane closures — and especially crews working to ensure a smoother traveling experience — and buckle your seat belts, and put the phone away. Be safe and be kind to one another.

I-35 FROM CORN HILL (BUD STOCKTON LOOP) TO FM 972

• Southbound I-35 entrance ramp permanently closed at Ronald Reagan Boulevard
  • Until further notice
• Northbound I-35 reduced to one lane at Bud Stockton Loop
  • Wednesday, Feb. 19 from 9 p.m. until 5 a.m.
• Southbound I-35 reduced to one lane from Bud Stockton Loop to Ronald Reagan Boulevard
  • Thursday, Feb. 20 from 9 p.m. until 5 a.m.

I-35 FROM RM 1431 TO FM 3406 (NORTHBOUND)

• Northbound I-35 frontage road reduced to one lane from Jeffrey Way to RM 1431
  • Through late 2020

I-35 AT PARMER LANE

• Westbound Parmer Lane bridge right lane closed at I-35
  • Through May 2020

I-35 FROM RUNDBERG LANE TO US 290 EAST

• Northbound I-35 frontage road left lane closed from Camino La Costa to St. Johns Avenue
  • Through mid-2020
• Northbound US 183 frontage road left lane closed from I-35 to Gessner Drive
  • Through mid-2020
• Southbound I-35 frontage road left lane closed nightly from St. Johns Avenue to Rundberg Lane. The St. Johns Avenue exit ramp (#240) and Rundberg Lane entrance ramp will also be closed.

• Southbound I-35 right lane closed nightly from St. Johns Avenue exit ramp (#240) to Rundberg Lane entrance ramp

• East and westbound I-35 frontage road reduced to one lane daily at Stassney Lane

• North and southbound I-35 frontage road right lane closed daily at Stassney Lane
