Interstate 35 Lane Closures For Feb. 2-8, 2019

AUSTIN, TEXAS — Each week, Texas Department of Transportation officials issue a list of lane closures along Interstate 35 to help drivers navigate around road work. It's a handy primer to help motorists plan ahead to avoid potential congestion in reaching their destinations.

The latest list covers lane closures from Feb. 2-8:

I-35 AT COUNTY ROAD 305

• I-35 frontage road left lane closed in both directions at County Road 305
  • Through spring 2019

I-35 AT FM 3406

• Northbound I-35 reduced to one lane under FM 3406
  • From 9 p.m. until 11 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 3
• Southbound I-35 reduced to one lane under FM 3406
  • From 9 p.m. until 5 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 3 and Monday, Feb. 4
• Southbound I-35 frontage road middle lane closed at FM 3406. The right turn lane at FM 3406 will also be closed.
  • From 8 p.m. until 5 a.m. Monday, Feb. 4 and Tuesday, Feb. 5
• FM 3406 left lane closed in both directions between Chisholm Trail and I-35
  • From 8 p.m. until 5 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 3 through Tuesday, Feb. 5

I-35 FROM US 79 TO SH 45 NORTH

• Northbound I-35 U-turn closed at Grand Avenue Parkway
  • From 9 p.m. until 5 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 6 through Thursday, Feb. 7

I-35 FROM RUNDBERG LANE TO US 290 EAST

• St. Johns Avenue reduced to one lane in each direction at I-35
  • Until further notice
• Southbound I-35 right lane closed between US 183 and St. Johns Avenue
  • From 9 p.m. until 5 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 3 through Thursday, Feb. 7
• Southbound I-35 frontage road left lane closed between Wonsley Drive and US 183
  • From 9 p.m. until 5 a.m. Sunday, February 3 through Thursday, Feb. 7
• Southbound I-35 U-turn closed at US 183
  • From 9 p.m. until 5 a.m. Sunday, February 3 through Thursday, Feb. 7
• Northbound I-35 right lane closed between St. Johns Avenue and US 183. Exit #240 will also be closed.
  • From 9 p.m. until 5 a.m. Monday, Feb. 4 through Thursday, Feb. 7

I-35 AT OLTORF STREET

• Northbound I-35 frontage road left lane closed between SH 71 and Woodward Street
  • From 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. Saturday, February 2 and Monday, Feb. 4 through Friday, Feb. 8
• Southbound I-35 frontage road right lane closed at Oltorf Street
  • From 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. Monday, Feb. 4 and Tuesday, Feb. 5
• Southbound I-35 frontage road left lane closed between St. Edwards Drive and Woodward Street
  • From 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. Monday, Feb. 4 through Friday, Feb. 8
• Northbound I-35 frontage road left lane closed at Royal Hill Road
  • From midnight until 5 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 5 and Wednesday, Feb. 6
• Northbound I-35 Oltorf Street exit closed
  • From midnight until 5 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 5 and Wednesday, Feb. 6

I-35 FROM STASSNEY LANE TO WILLIAM CANNON DRIVE

• Southbound I-35 frontage road left lane closed between Battle Bend Boulevard and Williamson Creek
  • From 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. Monday, Feb. 4 through Wednesday, Feb. 6
• Northbound I-35 frontage road right lane closed between Boggy Creek and Stassney Lane
  • From 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. Monday, Feb. 4 through Friday, Feb. 8
• Eastbound William Cannon Drive right lane closed at I-35
  • From 7 a.m. until 3 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 2
• William Cannon Drive in both directions closed across I-35
  • From 8 p.m. until 5 a.m. Monday, Feb. 4 and Tuesday, Feb. 5
• Eastbound William Cannon Drive right turn lane closed at I-35
  • From 8 p.m. until 5 a.m. Monday, Feb. 4 through Wednesday, Feb. 6
