Interstate 35 Lane Closures For Feb. 22-28, 2020

AUSTIN, TX — The Texas Department of Transportation has released its latest weekly list of lane closures planned for Interstate 35, yielding a helpful driving primer for motorists. By consulting the list in advance, savvy drivers avoid spots of potential congestion.

The latest list covers the period between Feb. 22-28.

I-35 FROM CORN HILL (BUD STOCKTON LOOP) TO FM 972

• Southbound I-35 entrance ramp permanently closed at Ronald Reagan Boulevard
  • Until further notice

I-35 FROM RM 1431 TO FM 3406 (NORTHBOUND)

• Northbound I-35 frontage road reduced to one lane from Jeffrey Way to RM 1431
  • Through late 2020

I-35 AT PARMER LANE

• Westbound Parmer Lane bridge right lane closed at I-35
  • Through May 2020

I-35 FROM RUNDBERG LANE TO US 290 EAST

• Northbound I-35 frontage road left lane closed from Camino La Costa to St. Johns Avenue
  • Through mid-2020
• Northbound US 183 frontage road left lane closed from I-35 to Gessner Drive
  • Through mid-2020
• Southbound I-35 frontage road left lane closed nightly at St. Johns Avenue
  • Sunday, Feb. 23 through Thursday, Feb. 27 from 9 p.m. until 5 a.m.
• Northbound US 183 frontage road closed nightly from I-35 to Providence Avenue
  • Sunday, Feb. 23 through Thursday, Feb. 27 from 9 p.m. until 5 a.m.
• Northbound US 183 frontage road closed nightly from I-35 to Clock Tower Drive. The I-35/Lamar Boulevard exit ramp will also be closed.
  • Sunday, Feb. 23 through Thursday, Feb. 27 from 9 p.m. until 5 a.m.
• Northbound US 183 left lane closed nightly from the northbound I-35 frontage road to Cameron Road entrance ramp
  • Sunday, Feb. 23 through Thursday, Feb. 27 from 9 p.m. until 5 a.m.
• Northbound I-35 right lane closed nightly from US 183 to Norwood Park Boulevard. The Rundberg Lane exit ramp (241) will also be closed.
  • Sunday, Feb. 23 through Thursday, Feb. 27 from 9 p.m. until 5 a.m.
• Southbound I-35 frontage road left lane closed nightly from St. Johns Avenue to Rundberg Lane. The St. Johns Avenue exit ramp (240) and the Rundberg Lane entrance ramp will also be closed.
  • Sunday, Feb. 23 through Thursday, Feb. 27 from 9 p.m. until 5 a.m.
• Southbound I-35 right lane closed nightly from St. Johns Avenue exit ramp (240) to US 183
  • Sunday, Feb. 23 through Thursday, Feb. 27 from 9 p.m. until 5 a.m.
• Northbound I-35 frontage road left lane closed daily at St. Johns Avenue
  • Monday, Feb. 24 through Friday, Feb. 28 from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m.
• Southbound I-35 frontage road right lane closed daily from Blackson Avenue to Huntland Drive
  • Monday, Feb. 24 through Friday, Feb. 28 from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m.

I-35 AT POSEY ROAD

• Posey Road bridge closed at I-35

• Northbound I-35 exit #199 for Posey Road and exit #200 for Centerpoint Road are closed
