Interstate 35 Lane Closures For Feb. 9-15, 2019

AUSTIN, TEXAS — The Texas Department of Transportation issued its weekly list of lane closures along Interstate 35, yielding a primer for motorists keen on avoiding potentially congested areas amid road work. The list outlines areas where enhancements or re-striping is scheduled.

The latest list covers the period between Feb. 9 through Feb. 15:

I-35 AT COUNTY ROAD 305

• I-35 frontage road left lane closed in both directions at County Road 305
  • Through spring 2019

I-35 AT FM 3406

• FM 3406 closed in both directions between I-35 and Chisholm Trail Road
  • From 8 p.m. until 5 a.m. Monday, Feb. 11

I-35 FROM RUNDBERG LANE TO US 290 EAST

• St. Johns Avenue reduced to one lane in each direction at I-35
  • Until further notice
• Southbound I-35 exit #240 closed at US 183. Use Exit #241 for Rundberg Lane
  • From 9 p.m. until 5 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 10 through Thursday, Feb. 14
• Southbound I-35 frontage road left lane closed between Wonsley Drive and US 183
  • From 9 p.m. until 5 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 10 through Thursday, Feb. 14
• Southbound I-35 U-turn closed at US 183
  • From 9 p.m. until 5 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 10 through Thursday, Feb. 14

I-35 FROM STASSNEY LANE TO WILLIAM CANNON DRIVE

• Westbound William Cannon Drive right turn lane closed at I-35
  • Through winter 2019
• Various I-35 frontage road closures in both directions between Slaughter Lane and SH 71
  • From 8 p.m. until 5 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 10 through Thursday, Feb. 14
• Southbound I-35 right lane closed at Corral Lane
  • From 10 p.m. until 5 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 10 through Monday, Feb. 11
• I-35 moving closures in both directions between Slaughter Lane and US SH 71
  • From 10 p.m. until 5 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 10 through Monday, Feb. 11
• Northbound I-35 reduced to one lane at Slaughter Lane. Entrance ramp north of Slaughter Lane is also closed.
  • From 10 p.m. until 5 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 10 through Monday, Feb. 11
• Westbound Stassney Lane right lane closed at I-35
  • From 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. Monday, Feb. 11 through Friday, Feb. 15

MAINTENANCE PROJECTS

• Southbound I-35 frontage road right lane closed at Marketplace Avenue
  • From 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. Monday, Feb. 11 through Thursday, Feb. 14
