Interstate 35 Lane Closures From Jan. 11-17, 2020

AUSTIN, TX — The Texas Department of Transportation has released its list of lane closures along Interstate 35, a weekly summary yielding a helpful guide for drivers seeking to avoid potential traffic congestion.

The latest list covers the period between Jan. 11-17.

I-35 FROM CORN HILL (BUD STOCKTON LOOP) TO FM 972

• North and southbound I-35 frontage road reduced to one lane from FM 972 to Bud Stockton Loop
  • Until further notice

I-35 FROM RM 1431 TO FM 3406 (NORTHBOUND)

• Northbound I-35 frontage road reduced to one lane from FM 3406 (Old Settlers Boulevard) to RM 1431 (University Boulevard)
  • Through late 2020

I-35 AT PARMER LANE

• Southbound I-35 frontage road left lane closed daily at Parmer Lane
  • Through early 2020

I-35 FROM RUNDBERG LANE TO US 290 EAST

• Northbound I-35 frontage road left lane closed from Camino La Costa to St. Johns Avenue
  • Through mid-2020
• Northbound US 183 frontage road left lane closed from I-35 to Gessner Drive
  • Through mid-2020
• Northbound US 183 frontage road right lane closed nightly from Norwood Park Boulevard to Clock Tower Drive
  • Tuesday, Jan. 7 through Thursday, Jan. 16 from 9 p.m. until 5 a.m.
• Southbound I-35 frontage road right lane closed daily from Blackson Avenue to St. Johns Avenue
  • Saturday, Jan. 11 through Monday, Jan. 13 from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m.
• Southbound I-35 frontage road left lane closed nightly from Carver Avenue to Cameron Road. The Cameron Road exit ramp will also be closed.
  • Sunday, Jan. 12 through Thursday, Jan. 16 from 9 p.m. until 5 a.m.
• Northbound US 183 right lane closed nightly from Cameron Road to I-35. The Cameron Road entrance ramp will also be closed.

• Southbound I-35 frontage road right lane closed nightly from Barwood Park to Powell Lane

• Northbound I-35 right two lanes closed nightly from Rutherford Lane to Rundberg Lane
  • Sunday, Jan. 12 through Tuesday, Jan. 14 from 9 p.m. until 5 a.m.
• Southbound I-35 right two lanes closed nightly from US 183 to US 290 East. The northbound US 183 flyover and US 290 East exit ramp will also be closed.
  • Sunday, Jan. 12 through Thursday, Jan. 16 from 10 p.m. until 5 a.m.
• Northbound I-35 right two lanes closed nightly from US 290 East to US 183. The northbound US 183 flyover and the southbound US 290 East exit ramp will also be closed.
