Texas Department of Transportation officials release latest batch of lane closures to help you plan your daily commute better.

AUSTIN, TEXAS — As is their weekly custom, Texas Department of Transportation officials have released a list of Interstate 35 lanes slated for closures in the coming week for construction or revamping. This list yields a handy primer for motorists, enabling them to sidestep such potentially congested spots to ensure smoother commute time.
The latest list covers the period from Jan. 5 to Jan. 11. Know your lane closures ahead of time! Here is the latest batch of closures:
I-35 AT COUNTY ROAD 305

- Northbound I-35 entrance ramp closed at US 290 E

- South to northbound I-35 U-turn closed at US 183
- From 9 p.m. until 5 a.m. Sunday, Jan. 6 through Thursday, Jan. 10
- Southbound I-35 left lane closed between US 183 and US 290 E
- From 9 p.m. until 5 a.m. Sunday, Jan. 6 through Thursday, Jan. 10
- Alternating southbound I-35 closures between US 183 and St. Johns Avenue
- From 9 p.m. until 5 a.m. Sunday, Jan. 6 through Thursday, Jan. 10
- Northbound I-35 left lane closed between US 290 E and St. Johns Avenue

- Southbound I-35 frontage road left lane closed between US 183 and St. Johns Avenue

I-35 FROM STASSNEY LANE TO WILLIAM CANNON DRIVE
- Southbound I-35 frontage road right lane closed at William Cannon Drive
- From 8 p.m. until 5 a.m. Sunday, Jan. 6 through Monday, Jan. 7
- Southbound I-35 frontage road left lane closed at William Cannon Drive
- From 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. Monday, Jan. 7 through Friday, Jan. 11
- Northbound I-35 frontage road right lane closed between Boggy Creek Drive and William Cannon Drive
- From 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. Monday, Jan. 7 through Friday, Jan. 11
- William Cannon Drive closed at I-35
