Interstate 35 Lane Closures For June 20-26, 2020

AUSTIN, TX — The Texas Department of Transportation has released its latest list of lane closures along Interstate 35, yielding a helpful primer for savvy driver. By checking the lane closures list ahead of travel, organized motorists are able to avert potential traffic congestion.

The latest closures list is for June 20-26.

I-35 FROM CORN HILL (BUD STOCKTON LOOP) TO FM 972

• Northbound I-35 reduced to one lane at CR 143
  • Monday, June 22 from 8 p.m. until 5 a.m.

I-35 AT RONALD REAGAN BOULEVARD

• Northbound I-35 reduced to one lane at Ronald Reagan Boulevard
  • Monday, June 22 from 8 p.m. until 5 a.m.

I-35 FROM RM 1431 TO FM 3406 (NORTHBOUND)

• Northbound I-35 frontage road reduced to one lane from Jeffrey Way to the RM 1431 exit ramp
  • Through early 2021

RM 620 Roundabout
(I-35 to Deep Wood Drive )

• Westbound RM 620 reduced to one lane nightly from I-35 to Chisholm Trail
  • Tuesday, June 23 through Thursday, June 25 from 9 p.m. until 5 a.m.

I-35 AT PARMER LANE

• Eastbound Parmer Lane bridge right lane closed at I-35
  • Through late June
• Parmer Lane bridge closed nightly at I-35
  • Tuesday, June 23 through Wednesday, June 24 from 7 p.m. until 5 a.m.

I-35 FROM RUNDBERG LANE TO US 290 EAST

• Northbound US 183 frontage road left lane closed from I-35 to Gessner Drive
  • Through August
• Eastbound and westbound Rutherford Lane closed continuously at the I-35 frontage road
  • Through mid-July
• Northbound and southbound US 183 left lane closed nightly from I-35 to Cameron Road
  • Sunday, June 21 through Thursday, June 25 from 9 p.m. until 5 a.m.
• Northbound I-35 reduced to one lane nightly from St. Johns Avenue to the Rundberg Lane exit (#241). The Rundberg Lane exit will also be closed.
  • Sunday, June 21 through Monday, June 22 from 9 p.m. until 5 a.m.
• Southbound US 183 frontage road closed nightly from I-35 to Carver Avenue
  • Sunday, June 21 through Thursday, June 25 from 9 p.m. until 5 a.m.
• Southbound I-35 frontage road right lane closed daily from Blackson Avenue to US 290 East
  • Monday, June 22 through Friday, June 26 from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m.
• Northbound and southbound I-35 left lane closed nightly from Rundberg Lane to US 183
  • Monday, June 22 through Thursday, June 25 from 9 p.m. until 5 a.m.
• Eastbound and westbound St. Johns Avenue closed nightly at the southbound I-35 frontage road
  • Wednesday, June 24 through Thursday, June 25 from 9 p.m. until 5 a.m.

• Northbound I-35 left lane closed from Woodward Street to Woodland Avenue
  • Monday, June 22 from 8:30 p.m. until 5 a.m.
• Southbound I-35 left lane closed from Woodland Avenue to SH 71
  • Monday, June 22 from 8:30 p.m. until 6 a.m.
• Northbound I-35 right lane closed from Woodward Street to Woodland Avenue. Multiple entrance and exit ramps will also be closed in the project area.
  • Tuesday, June 23 from 8:30 p.m. until 5:30 a.m.
• Southbound I-35 right lane closed from Riverside Drive to SH 71. Multiple entrance and exit ramps will also be closed in the project area.
  • Tuesday, June 23 from 8:30 p.m. until 6 a.m.
• Northbound I-35 reduced to two lanes from Woodward Street to Woodland Avenue. Multiple entrance and exit ramps will also be closed in the project area.
  • Wednesday, June 24 from 8:30 p.m. until 5:30 a.m.
• Southbound I-35 reduced to two lanes nightly from Riverside Drive to the Stassney Lane exit (#229)
  • Wednesday, June 24 through Thursday, June 25 from 8:30 p.m. until 6 a.m.

I-35 FROM STASSNEY LANE TO WILLIAM CANNON DRIVE

• Northbound I-35 frontage road right lane closed daily from the William Cannon Drive entrance ramp to Stassney Lane
  • Monday, June 22 through Saturday, June 27 from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m.
• Northbound I-35 frontage road right lane closed daily from Boggy Creek Drive to William Cannon Drive
  • Monday, June 22 through Saturday, June 27 from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m.
• Southbound I-35 frontage road right lane closed daily from Stassney Lane to the William Cannon Drive exit (#228)
  • Monday, June 22 through Saturday, June 27 from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m.
• Southbound I-35 frontage road right lane closed daily from William Cannon Drive to Chaparral Road

• Posey Road bridge closed at I-35

• Northbound I-35 right lane closed from Wells Branch Parkway to Grand Avenue Parkway. The Grand Avenue Parkway exit (#248) and the entrance ramp north of Grand Avenue Parkway will also be closed.
