Interstate 35 Lane Closures June 6-12, 2020

AUSTIN, TX — The Texas Department of Transportation released its latest list of Interstate 35 lane closures, yielding a handy driving primer for motorists. By checking the list in advance, drivers can avoid potential traffic congestion.

The latest list covers the period between June 6-12.

I-35 AT RONALD REAGAN BOULEVARD

• Northbound I-35 reduced to one lane nightly at Ronald Reagan Boulevard
  • Sunday, June 7 through Wednesday, June 10 from 8 p.m. until 5 a.m.

I-35 FROM RM 1431 TO FM 3406 (NORTHBOUND)

• Northbound I-35 frontage road reduced to one lane from Jeffrey Way to the RM 1431 exit ramp
  • Through early 2021

I-35 AT PARMER LANE

• Eastbound Parmer Lane bridge right lane closed at I-35
  • Through early July

I-35 FROM RUNDBERG LANE TO US 290 EAST

• Northbound US 183 frontage road left lane closed from I-35 to Gessner Drive
  • Through early August
• Eastbound and westbound Rutherford Lane closed continuously at the I-35 frontage road
  • Through mid-July
• Southbound US 183 Cameron Road exit closed
  • Through late June
• Northbound I-35 frontage road right lane closed nightly from Blackson Avenue to US 183
  • Sunday, June 7 through Sunday, June 14 from 9 p.m. until 5 a.m.
• Southbound I-35 left lane closed nightly from Rundberg Lane to US 290 East
  • Sunday, June 7 through Thursday, June 11 from 9 p.m. until 5 a.m.
• Southbound US 183 closed from I-35 to Carver Avenue
  • Sunday, June 7 from 9 p.m. until 5 a.m.
• Southbound US 183 frontage road closed nightly from I-35 to Carver Avenue
  • Sunday, June 7 through Thursday, June 11 from 9 p.m. until 5 a.m.
• Northbound I-35 frontage road left lane closed from US 183 to Norwood Park Boulevard. The Rundberg Lane exit (#241) will also be closed.

• Southbound I-35 frontage road right lane closed daily from St. Johns Avenue to Huntland Drive
  • Monday, June 8 through Friday, June 12 from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m.
• Southbound I-35 frontage road left lane closed from Rundberg Lane to Middle Lane. The north to south I-35 U-turn at Rundberg Lane will also be closed.
  • Monday, June 8 from 9 p.m. until 5 a.m.
• South to north I-35 U-turn closed daily at US 183
  • Monday, June 8 through Friday, June 12 from 7 a.m. until 5 p.m.
• Northbound I-35 reduced to one lane nightly from US 183 to Norwood Park Boulevard
  • Tuesday, June 9 through Wednesday, June 10 from 9 p.m. until 5 a.m.
• Southbound I-35 left two lanes closed nightly at US 183
  • Tuesday, June 9 through Wednesday, June 10 from 9 p.m. until 5 a.m.

I-35 AT OLTORF STREET

• Southbound I-35 reduced to one lane nightly from Woodland Avenue to Woodward Street
  • Sunday, June 7 through Tuesday, June 9 from 8:30 p.m. until 6 a.m.
• Southbound I-35 reduced to one lane nightly from Woodland Avenue to Woodward Street. The entrance ramp south of Woodland Avenue, the Woodward Street exit (#231), and the entrance ramp south of Oltorf Street will be closed.

• Southbound I-35 entrance ramp closed permanently at Centerpoint Road
  • Until further notice
• Northbound and southbound I-35 left lane closed continuously from York Creek Road to Centerpoint Road
  • Through late July
