AUSTIN, TX — The Texas Department of Transportation has issued its weekly list of Interstate 35 lane closures, yielding a handy primer for drivers seeking to avoid potential traffic congestion.

The latest list covers the period between March 14-20:

I-35 FROM CORN HILL (BUD STOCKTON LOOP) TO FM 972

• Southbound I-35 entrance ramp permanently closed at Ronald Reagan Boulevard
  • Until further notice

I-35 FROM RM 1431 TO FM 3406 (NORTHBOUND)

• Northbound I-35 frontage road reduced to one lane from Jeffrey Way to RM 1431
  • Through late 2020

I-35 AT PARMER LANE

• Westbound Parmer Lane bridge right lane closed at I-35
  • Tuesday, Feb. 11 through Thursday, April 30
• Parmer Lane bridge closed at I-35
  • Wednesday, March 18 from 8:30 p.m. until 5 a.m.
• Southbound I-35 frontage road closed from Parmer Lane to Yager Lane. The southbound I-35 entrance ramp at Parmer Lane and the Yager Lane intersection will also be closed.
  • Thursday, March 19 from 10 p.m. until 5 a.m.

I-35 FROM RUNDBERG LANE TO US 290 EAST

• Northbound I-35 frontage road left lane closed from Camino La Costa to St. Johns Avenue
  • Through mid-2020
• Northbound US 183 frontage road left lane closed from I-35 to Gessner Drive
  • Through mid-2020
• Eastbound and westbound Fenelon Drive closed at the I-35 frontage road
  • Until further notice
• Southbound I-35 frontage road right lane closed nightly from Blackson Avenue to St. Johns Avenue
  • Sunday, March 8 through Saturday, March 14 from 9 p.m. until 5 a.m.
• Northbound I-35 frontage road left lane closed daily at St. Johns Avenue
  • Wednesday, March 11 through Friday, March 20 from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m.
• Southbound US 183 frontage road closed from I-35 to Carver Avenue
  • Sunday, March 15 from 8 p.m. until 5 a.m.
• Northbound and southbound I-35 reduced to two lanes nightly from US 290 East to US 183. The Rundberg Lane exit ramp (#241) will also be closed.
  • Sunday, March 15 through Thursday, March 19 from 8 p.m. until 5 a.m.
• South to north I-35 U-turn closed daily at US 183
  • Monday, March 16 through Friday, March 20 from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m.
• Northbound US 183 frontage road closed nightly from Clock Tower Drive to I-35
  • Monday, March 16 through Thursday, March 19 from 9 p.m. until 5 a.m.
• Westbound US 290 East closed nightly at I-35
  • Monday, March 16 through Tuesday, March 17 from 9 p.m. until 5 a.m.

I-35 FROM STASSNEY LANE TO WILLIAM CANNON DRIVE

• Northbound I-35 frontage road closures nightly from Boggy Creek Drive to William Cannon Drive
  • Sunday, March 15 through Tuesday, March 17 from 8 p.m. until 5 a.m.
• Southbound I-35 frontage road left lane closed nightly at Stassney Lane
  • Sunday, March 15 through Thursday, March 19 from 8 p.m. until 5 a.m.
• Eastbound and westbound Stassney Lane left lane closed daily at the I-35 frontage road
  • Monday, March 16 through Friday, March 20 from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m.

I-35 AT POSEY ROAD

• Southbound I-35 frontage road reduced to one lane from Posey Road to York Creek Road
  • Through April 2020
• Posey Road bridge closed at I-35
  • Until further notice
• Northbound I-35 Posey Road exit (#199) and Centerpoint Road exit (#200) are closed
  • Until further notice

I-35 MAINTENANCE CLOSURES

• Northbound I-35 frontage road left lane closed at US 79. The entrance ramp will also be closed.
  • Tuesday, March 17 from 9 p.m. until 5 a.m.
• Southbound I-35 right lane closed from Pamela Street to Cheddar Loop Road
  • Thursday, March 19 from 9 p.m. until 5 a.m.
