Interstate 35 Lane Closures March 7-13, 2020

AUSTIN, TX— As they do each week, the Texas Department of Transportation has released its latest list of Interstate 35 lane closures for the coming days. What this yields for the savviest of drivers is a helpful guide in alerting to potential traffic congestion of which to be aware ahead of travel.

The latest list of I-35 closures covers the period between March 7-13:

I-35 FROM CORN HILL (BUD STOCKTON LOOP) TO FM 972

• Southbound I-35 entrance ramp permanently closed at Ronald Reagan Boulevard
  • Until further notice
• North and southbound I-35 reduced to one lane nightly from Ronald Reagan Boulevard to Bud Stockton Loop
  • Sunday, March 8 through Monday, March 9 from 9 p.m. until 5 a.m.
• Northbound I-35 entrance ramp permanently closed at Ronald Reagan Boulevard
  • Beginning Thursday, March 12 at 5 a.m.
• Southbound I-35 exit ramp (#271) permanently closed at Ronald Reagan Boulevard
  • Beginning Thursday, March 12 at 5 a.m.

I-35 AT RONALD REAGAN BOULEVARD

• Southbound I-35 right lane closed from FM 972 to Lakeway Drive
  • Sunday, March 8 through Monday, March 9 from 9 p.m. until 5:30 a.m.
• North and southbound I-35 right lane closed nightly at Ronald Reagan Boulevard
  • Wednesday, March 11 from 9 p.m. until 5 a.m.
• Northbound I-35 reduced to one lane nightly at Ronald Reagan Boulevard
  • Thursday, March 12 from 9 p.m. until 5 a.m.

I-35 FROM RM 1431 TO FM 3406 (NORTHBOUND)

• Northbound I-35 frontage road reduced to one lane from Jeffrey Way to RM 1431
  • Through late 2020

I-35 AT PARMER LANE

• Westbound Parmer Lane bridge right lane closed at I-35
  • Through May 2020

I-35 FROM RUNDBERG LANE TO US 290 EAST

• Northbound I-35 frontage road left lane closed from Camino La Costa to St. Johns Avenue
  • Through mid-2020
• Northbound US 183 frontage road left lane closed from I-35 to Gessner Drive
  • Through mid-2020
• Southbound US 183 frontage road closed from I-35 to Carver Avenue
  • Saturday, March 7 at 5 a.m. until Sunday, March 8 at 5 a.m.
• Southbound US 183 frontage road closed nightly from I-35 to Carver Avenue
  • Sunday, March 8 through Thursday, March 12 from 9 p.m. until 5 a.m.
• Northbound I-35 right lane closed nightly from Blackson Avenue to Norwood Park Boulevard. The Rundberg Lane exit ramp (#241) will also be closed.

• North and southbound US 183 left lane closed nightly at I-35

I-35 FROM STASSNEY LANE TO WILLIAM CANNON DRIVE

• Northbound I-35 right lane closed from FM 1327 to Onion Creek Parkway
  • Sunday, March 8 from 9 p.m. until 5 a.m.
• Southbound I-35 frontage road closures at Stassney Lane
  • Monday, March 9 through Tuesday, March 10 from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m.
• East and westbound Stassney Lane right turn lane closed daily at I-35
  • Monday, March 9 through Friday, March 13 from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m.
• North and southbound I-35 frontage road right turn lane closed daily at Stassney Lane
