Interstate 35 Lane Closures For May 2-8, 2020

AUSTIN, TX — The Texas Department of Transportation has issued its weekly list of lane closures along Interstate 35, yielding a handy driving guide for motorists seeking to avoid potential congestion.

I-35 FROM CORN HILL (BUD STOCKTON LOOP) TO FM 972

• Southbound I-35 entrance ramp permanently closed at Ronald Reagan Boulevard
  • Until further notice

I-35 AT RONALD REAGAN BOULEVARD

• Northbound I-35 reduced to one lane nightly at Ronald Reagan Boulevard
  • Sunday, May 3 through Thursday, May 7 from 9 p.m. until 5 a.m.

I-35 FROM RM 1431 TO FM 3406 (NORTHBOUND)

• Northbound I-35 frontage road reduced to one lane from Jeffrey Way to the RM 1431 exit ramp
  • Through early 2021

I-35 AT PARMER LANE

• Eastbound Parmer Lane bridge right lane closed at I-35
  • Through mid-2020

I-35 FROM RUNDBERG LANE TO US 290 EAST

• Northbound I-35 frontage road left lane closed from Camino La Costa to St. Johns Avenue
  • Through mid-2020
• Northbound US 183 frontage road left lane closed from I-35 to Gessner Drive

• Eastbound and westbound Norwood Park Boulevard closed at the I-35 frontage road

• Southbound US 183 exit ramp closed at Cameron Road

• South to north I-35 U-turn at US 183 will be continuously closed

• Northbound I-35 frontage road right lane closed daily from US 290 East to St. Johns Avenue

• Northbound and southbound I-35 left lane closed nightly from US 290 East to Rundberg Lane

• Southbound I-35 frontage road left lane closed daily from Battle Bend Boulevard to Stassney Lane

  • Monday, May 4 from 8 a.m. until 3 p.m.
• Northbound I-35 Slaughter Lane entrance ramp closed
  • Sunday, May 3 from 7:30 p.m. until 5:30 a.m.
• Northbound I-35 William Cannon Drive entrance ramp closed

• Southbound I-35 Stassney Lane entrance ramp closed

• Northbound I-35 right two lanes closed from Slaughter Lane to William Cannon Drive. The William Cannon Drive exit ramp (#228) will also be closed.

• Northbound I-35 right two lanes closed from Slaughter Creek Overpass to National Park Boulevard. The Slaughter Lane exit ramp (#227) will also be closed.
