AUSTIN, TX — The Texas Department of Transportation on Friday released its weekly list of Interstate 35 lane closures, yielding a helpful driving guide for motorists seeking to avoid potential traffic congestion.

The latest list covers the period between May 9-15, 2020.

I-35 FROM CORN HILL (BUD STOCKTON LOOP) TO FM 972

• Southbound I-35 entrance ramp permanently closed at Ronald Reagan Boulevard
  • Until further notice
• Northbound I-35 left two lanes closed nightly at Ronald Reagan Boulevard
  • Sunday, May 10 through Thursday, May 14 from 8 p.m. until 6 a.m.

I-35 FROM RM 1431 TO FM 3406 (NORTHBOUND)

• Northbound I-35 frontage road reduced to one lane from Jeffrey Way to the RM 1431 exit ramp
  • Through early 2021

I-35 AT PARMER LANE

• Eastbound Parmer Lane bridge right lane closed at I-35
  • Through mid-2020

I-35 FROM RUNDBERG LANE TO US 290 EAST

• Northbound I-35 frontage road left lane closed from Camino La Costa to St. Johns Avenue
  • Through mid-2020
• Northbound US 183 frontage road left lane closed from I-35 to Gessner Drive
  • Through mid-2020
• Eastbound and westbound Norwood Park Boulevard closed at the I-35 frontage road
  • Through mid-2020
• Southbound US 183 Cameron Road exit ramp closed

• South to north I-35 U-turn at US 183 will be continuously closed

• Northbound and southbound I-35 left lane closed nightly from US 290 East to Rundberg Lane

• Northbound I-35 right lane closed nightly from St. Johns Avenue to the Rundberg Lane exit ramp. The Rundberg Lane exit ramp (#241) will also be closed.

• Northbound I-35 frontage road right lane closed nightly from Blackson Avenue to Norwood Park Boulevard

• Northbound and southbound Clock Tower Drive closed daily at the northbound US 183 frontage road
  • Wednesday, May 13 through Thursday, May 14 from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m.
• Northbound and southbound Carver Avenue closed daily at the southbound US 183 frontage road
  • Wednesday, May 13 through Thursday, May 14 from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m.
• Southbound I-35 reduced to one lane nightly from Rundberg Lane to US 183. The Rundberg Lane entrance ramp will also be closed.
  • Wednesday, May 13 through Thursday, May 14 from 9 p.m. until 5 a.m.

I-35 AT OLTORF STREET

• Northbound I-35 right two lanes closed nightly from SH 71 to Woodland Avenue. The Woodward Street entrance ramp, the Oltorf exit ramp (#232A) and the Woodland Avenue exit ramp (#232B) will also be closed.

• Northbound I-35 frontage road left lane closed daily from Boggy Creek Drive to William Cannon Drive
  • Thursday, May 7 through Friday, May 15 from 8 a.m. until 3 p.m.
• Eastbound William Cannon Drive left lane closed daily at I-35
  • Monday, May 11 through Friday, May 15 from 8 a.m. until 3 p.m.
• Northbound I-35 William Cannon Drive entrance ramp closed
  • Monday, May 11 from 7:30 p.m. until 5:30 a.m.
• Northbound I-35 Slaughter Lane entrance ramp closed
  • Monday, May 11 from 7:30 p.m. until 5:30 a.m.
• Northbound I-35 frontage road right lane closed from Nelms Drive to Stassney Lane. The Ben White Boulevard exit ramp (#230) will also be closed.
