Interstate 35 Lane Closures For Nov. 16-20

AUSTIN, TEXAS — Texas Department of Transportation officials have outlined the lane closures for the week of Nov. 16-20, yielding a handy primer for motorists to be alerted of potential congestion ahead of their travel time.

I-35 FROM US 79 TO SH 45 NORTH

• Northbound I-35 frontage road right lane closed between Gattis School Rd and RM 620
• From 8 a.m. until 3 p.m. Monday, Nov. 19 and Tuesday, Nov. 20

I-35 FROM RUNDBERG LANE TO US 290 EAST

• Powell Lane closed at southbound I-35. Use Wonsley Drive
  • Through winter 2018
• Clock Tower Drive closed at northbound US 183
  • Through winter 2018
• Carver Avenue closed at southbound US 183
  • Through winter 2018
• I-35 left lane closed in both directions between US 290E and US 183
  • From 9 p.m. until 5 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 18 through Tuesday, Nov. 20
• I-35 south to northbound turnaround closed at US 183
  • From 9 p.m. until 5 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 18 through Tuesday, Nov. 20
• Southbound I-35 entrance ramp closed between Rundberg Lane and US 290 East
  • From 9 p.m. until 5 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 18 through Tuesday, Nov. 20

I-35 FROM STASSNEY LANE TO WILLIAM CANNON DRIVE

• Northbound I-35 William Cannon Drive Exit #228 closed
  • From 8 a.m. until 10 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 17
• Northbound I-35 frontage road right lane closed between Boggy Creek Drive and William Cannon Drive
  • From 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. Monday, Nov. 19 and Tuesday, Nov. 20
• Various closures on William Cannon Drive at I-35
  • From 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. Monday, Nov. 19 and Tuesday, Nov. 20

I-35 MAINTENANCE PROJECTS

• Slow moving work crews I-35 in both directions between Yarrington Road and Robert S. Light Boulevard in Hays County
  • From 9 p.m. until 5 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 18
• Northbound I-35 reduced to one right lane at Main Street in Buda
  • From 9 p.m. until 5 a.m. Monday, Nov. 19 and Tuesday, No. 20
