Interstate 35 Lane Closures For Nov. 9-15, 2019

AUSTIN, TX — The Texas Department of Transportation has issued it weekly list of Interstate 35 lane closures covering the period between Nov. 9 to Nov. 15. Savvy motorists consult this weekly list to know in advance what areas along the highway might be hot spots for congestion.

Here are the areas along the artery scheduled for closure in the coming days:

I-35 AT PARMER LANE

• Southbound I-35 frontage road left lane closed daily at Parmer Lane
  • Through early 2020

I-35 FROM RUNDBERG LANE TO US 290 EAST

• Northbound I-35 frontage road left lane closed from Camino La Costa to St. Johns Avenue
  • Through mid-2020
• Northbound US 183 frontage road left lane closed from I-35 to Gessner Drive
  • Through mid-2020
• Northbound I-35 frontage road left lane closed nightly from Hermitage Drive to Rundberg Lane. The Rundberg Lane entrance ramp will also be closed.
  • Sunday, Nov. 10 through Thursday, Nov. 14 from 9 p.m. until 5 a.m.
• Southbound I-35 left two lanes closed nightly from Powell Lane to US 290 East
  • Sunday, Nov. 10 through Thursday, Nov. 14 from 10 p.m. until 5 a.m.
• Northbound I-35 left lane closed nightly from US 290 East to Rutherford Lane
  • Monday, Nov. 11 through Thursday, Nov. 14 from 9 p.m. until 5 a.m.

I-35 AT OLTORF STREET

• Northbound I-35 right lane closed nightly from Oltorf Street to Woodland Avenue
  • Sunday, Nov. 10 through Thursday, Nov. 14 from 9 p.m. until 3 a.m.
• Northbound I-35 frontage road left lane closed nightly from Oltorf Street to Woodland Avenue
  • Sunday, Nov. 10 through Thursday, Nov. 14 from 9 p.m. until 3 a.m.
• Northbound SH 71 right lane closed from Burleson Road to I-35 frontage road
  • Monday, Nov. 11 from 9:30 p.m. until 3 a.m.

I-35 FROM STASSNEY LANE TO WILLIAM CANNON DRIVE

• Southbound I-35 frontage road right lane closed from William Cannon Drive to Corral Lane
  • Sunday, Nov. 10 through Thursday, Nov. 14 from 8 p.m. until 5 a.m.
• Southbound I-35 frontage road left lane closed between Battle Bend Boulevard and Stassney Lane
  • Sunday, Nov. 10 from 8 p.m. until 5 a.m.
• Northbound I-35 left lane closed at Stassney Lane
  • Sunday, Nov. 10 from 9 p.m. until 5 a.m.
• Southbound I-35 mainlanes closed at Stassney Lane
  • Sunday, Nov. 10 from 10 p.m. until 6 a.m.
• Southbound I-35 frontage road left lane closed nightly at Battle Bend Boulevard
  • Monday, Nov. 11 through Thursday, Nov. 14 from 9 p.m. until 5 a.m.
• Southbound I-35 frontage road right lane closed nightly at Stassney Lane
  • Monday, Nov. 11 through Thursday, Nov. 14 from 8 p.m. until 5 a.m.
• Southbound William Cannon Drive right lane closed nightly at I-35 frontage road
  • Monday, Nov. 11 through Thursday, Nov. 14 from 8 p.m. until 5 a.m.
• Southbound I-35 frontage road right lane closed nightly from William Cannon Drive to Chaparral Road
  • Monday, Nov. 11 through Thursday, Nov. 14 from 8 p.m. until 5 a.m.

I-35 AT POSEY ROAD

• Posey Road bridge closed at I-35
  • Until further notice
• Northbound I-35 exit #199 for Posey Road and exit #200 for Centerpoint Road are closed
  • Until further notice
• Northbound I-35 right shoulder closed at Posey Road
  • Through late 2019
• Southbound I-35 frontage road right lane closed from Posey Road to Industrial Fork
  • Monday, Nov. 11 from 8 a.m. until 11 a.m.

I-35 MAINTENANCE CLOSURES

• Northbound I-35 frontage road right lane closed daily from Centerpoint Road to McCarty Lane
  • Tuesday, Nov. 12 through Thursday, Nov. 14 from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m.
• North and southbound I-35 right lane on the upper level will be closed between Airport Boulevard and 12 Street. The Martin Luther King Boulevard and Airport Boulevard exits will also be closed.
  • Sunday, Nov. 10 from 6:30 a.m. until 9:30 a.m.
• Southbound I-35 right lane closed from Hill Road to CR 305
  • Sunday, Nov. 10 from 9 p.m. until 5 a.m.
• Southbound I-35 reduced to one lane nightly from Bell County Line to SH 130
  • Sunday, Nov. 10 through Thursday, Nov. 14 from 9 p.m. until 5:30 a.m.
