AUSTIN, TX — The Texas Department of Transportation has released its weekly list of Interstate 35 lane closures, yielding a helpful primer for drivers wanting to avoid potential traffic congestion where construction or upgrades are being conducted.

This week's list covers the period between Oct. 19-25.

I-35 AT CR 305

• Westbound CR 305 closed at the I-35 frontage road
  • Through late 2019

I-35 FROM CORN HILL (BUD STOCKTON LOOP) TO FM 972

• North and southbound I-35 frontage road reduced to one lane from FM 972 to Bud Stockton Loop
  • Until further notice

I-35 AT RONALD REAGAN BOULEVARD

• Northbound I-35 reduced to one lane nightly at Ronald Reagan Boulevard
  • Sunday, Oct. 20 through Thursday, Oct. 24 from 9 p.m. until 5 a.m.

I-35 FROM RM 1431 TO FM 3406 (NORTHBOUND)

• Northbound I-35 frontage road reduced to one lane from FM 3406 (Old Settlers Boulevard) to RM 1431 (University Boulevard)

• Southbound I-35 frontage road left lane closed daily at Parmer Lane

• Northbound I-35 frontage road left lane closed nightly from Hermitage Drive to Rundberg Lane. The Rundberg Lane entrance ramp will also be closed.

• Southbound I-35 left two lanes closed from US 183 to US 290 East
  • Sunday, Oct. 20 through Monday, Oct. 21 from 9 p.m. until 5 a.m.
• Northbound I-35 left lane closed from US 290 East to US 183

• Southbound US 183 right lane closed nightly from I-35 to Providence Avenue. The Cameron Road exit ramp will also be closed.
  • Monday, Oct. 21 through Thursday, Oct. 24 from 9 p.m. until 5 a.m.
• Northbound I-35 left lane closed nightly from US 290 East to Rundberg Lane. The US 290 East entrance ramp will also be closed.

• Southbound I-35 left two lanes closed nightly from Rundberg Lane to US 290 East
  • Monday, Oct. 21 through Thursday, Oct. 24 from 10 p.m. until 5 a.m.
• Northbound I-35 frontage road reduced to one lane nightly from Blackson Avenue to US 183
  • Monday, Oct. 21 through Thursday, Oct. 24 from 10 p.m. until 5 a.m.
• Northbound US 183 frontage road left two lanes closed nightly from US 183 to Gessner Drive. The US 183 exit ramp will also be closed.
  • Tuesday, Oct. 22 through Thursday, Oct. 24 from 10 p.m. until 5 a.m.

I-35 AT OLTORF STREET

• Southbound I-35 right two lanes closed nightly from Woodland Avenue to Oltorf Street
  • Sunday, Oct. 20 through Monday, Oct. 21 from 9 p.m. until 6 a.m.
• Southbound I-35 frontage road left lane closed daily from Woodland Avenue to Woodward Street
  • Monday, Oct. 21 through Wednesday, Oct. 23 from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m.
• Southbound I-35 right two lanes closed nightly at Oltorf Street. The Oltorf Street entrance and exit ramps will also be closed.
  • Tuesday, Oct. 22 through Thursday, Oct. 24 from 9 p.m. until 6 a.m.
• Southbound I-35 right lane closed from Oltorf Street to Woodward Street
  • Tuesday, Oct. 22 from 9 p.m. until 5 a.m.
• Northbound I-35 frontage road left lane closed daily from Woodward Street to Oltorf Street
  • Wednesday, Oct. 23 through Friday, Oct. 25 from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m.

I-35 FROM STASSNEY LANE TO WILLIAM CANNON DRIVE

• North and southbound Congress Avenue left lane closed nightly at Slaughter Lane
  • Sunday, Oct. 20 through Monday, Oct. 21 from 9 p.m. until 5 a.m.
• Northbound I-35 left lane closed nightly at Stassney Lane
  • Sunday, Oct. 20 through Monday, Oct. 21 from 9 p.m. until 5 a.m.
• Southbound I-35 frontage road left lane closed nightly at William Cannon Drive. The Slaughter Lane exit ramp will also be closed.
  • Sunday, Oct. 20 through Wednesday, Oct. 23 from 9 p.m. until 5 a.m.
• Southbound I-35 left two lanes closed nightly at Stassney Lane

• Northbound I-35 exit ramps at Posey Road (#199) and Centerpoint Road (#200) are closed. The southbound I-35 entrance ramp south of Posey Road is also closed.
