Interstate 35 Lane Closures For Oct. 5-11, 2019

AUSTIN, TX — Texas Department of Transportation officials released their weekly list of Interstate 35 lane closures, yielding a helpful guide for drivers seeking to avoid potential congestion.

The transportation agency's latest list of closures covers the period between Oct. 5-11.

I-35 AT CR 305

• CR 305 bridge closed at I-35
  • Until further notice

I-35 FROM CORN HILL (BUD STOCKTON LOOP) TO FM 972

• North and southbound I-35 frontage road reduced to one lane from FM 972 to Bud Stockton Loop
  • Until further notice

I-35 AT RONALD REAGAN BOULEVARD

• Southbound I-35 reduced to one lane at Ronald Reagan Boulevard
  • Thursday, Oct. 10 from 9 p.m. until 5 a.m.

I-35 FROM RM 1431 TO FM 3406 (NORTHBOUND)

• Northbound I-35 frontage road reduced to one lane from FM 3406 (Old Settlers Boulevard) to RM 1431 (University Boulevard)
  • Through late 2020

I-35 AT PARMER LANE

• Southbound I-35 frontage road left lane closed daily at Parmer Lane
  • Through early 2020

I-35 FROM RUNDBERG LANE TO US 290 EAST

• Southbound US 183 frontage road left lane closed nightly from Carver Avenue to Providence Avenue. The Cameron Road exit ramp will also be closed.
  • Sunday, Oct. 6 through Wednesday, Oct. 9 from 9 p.m. until 5 a.m.
• Northbound I-35 frontage road left lane closed nightly from US 290 East to Exit #239. Exit #239 will also be closed.
  • Sunday, Oct. 6 through Tuesday, Oct. 8 from 11 p.m. until 5 a.m.
• Southbound I-35 left two lanes closed nightly from Rundberg Lane to St. Johns Avenue
  • Monday, Oct. 7 through Wednesday, Oct. 9 from 10 p.m. until 5 a.m.
• Northbound I-35 right lane closed nightly from US 290 East to St. Johns Avenue. The US 290 East entrance ramp will also be closed.
  • Tuesday, Oct. 8 through Wednesday, Oct. 9 from 9 p.m. until 5 a.m.
• North and southbound Wonsley Drive reduced to one lane at I-35
  • Wednesday, Oct. 9 from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m.

I-35 AT OLTORF STREET

• Northbound I-35 right lane closed nightly at Oltorf Street
  • Monday, Oct. 7 from 9 p.m. until 5 a.m.
• Northbound I-35 frontage road left lane closed nightly from Woodward Street to Oltorf Street
  • Monday, Oct. 7 from 9 p.m. until 5 a.m.
• Southbound I-35 frontage road right lane closed nightly from St. Edwards Drive to Woodward Street
  • Monday, Oct. 7 through from 9 p.m. until 5 a.m.
• Northbound I-35 frontage road right lane closed nightly from Oltorf Street to Woodland Avenue

• Northbound I-35 frontage road left lane closed daily from William Cannon Drive to Stassney Lane
  • Monday, Oct. 7 through Friday, Oct. 18 from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m.
• Southbound I-35 frontage road left lane closed daily from Shelby Lane to Williamson Creek Drive
  • Monday, Oct. 7 through Tuesday, Oct. 8 from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m.
• Northbound I-35 frontage road left lane closed daily at Stassney Lane
  • Monday, Oct. 7 through Tuesday, Oct. 8 from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m.
• Northbound I-35 frontage road reduced to one lane nightly at William Cannon Drive
  • Monday, Oct. 7 through Tuesday, Oct. 8 from 8 p.m. until 5 a.m.
• Northbound I-35 frontage road reduced to one lane nightly at Stassney Lane
  • Monday, Oct. 7 through Thursday, Oct. 10 from 8 p.m. until 5 a.m.
• Northbound I-35 left two lanes closed nightly at Stassney Lane. The Stassney Lane entrance ramp will also be closed.
  • Monday, Oct. 7 through Thursday, Oct. 10 from 9 p.m. until 5 a.m.
• Southbound I-35 left lane closed nightly at Stassney Lane
  • Monday, Oct. 7 through Thursday, Oct. 10 from 9 p.m. until 5 a.m.

I-35 AT POSEY ROAD

• Northbound I-35 frontage road closed nightly from York Creek Road to Posey Road
  • Thursday, Oct. 3 through Wednesday, Oct. 9 from 9 p.m. until 5 a.m.
• Northbound I-35 exit ramps at Posey Road (#199) and Centerpoint Road (#200) are closed. The southbound I-35 entrance ramp south of Posey Road is also closed.

• Southbound I-35 right lane closed from San Marcos River Bridge to SH 123. Exit #204A will also be closed.
