Interstate 35 Lane Closures Scheduled From July 27 - Aug 2, 2019

AUSTIN, TX — The Texas Department of Transportation released its weekly list of scheduled lane closures along Interstate 35 as a driver's guide in negotiating around potential traffic congestion. This week's list covers the period between July 27 and Aug. 2.

I-35 FROM CORN HILL (BUD STOCKTON LOOP) TO FM 972

• North and southbound I-35 frontage roads reduced to one lane from FM 972 to Bud Stockton Loop
  • Until further notice
• Southbound I-35 reduced to one lane nightly from Ronald Reagan Boulevard to Bud Stockton Loop
  • Sunday, July 28 through Friday, August 2 from 9 p.m. until 5 a.m.

I-35 FROM RUNDBERG LANE TO US 290 EAST

• Northbound I-35 right auxiliary lane closed nightly at US 290 East. The entrance ramp at US 290 East will also be closed.
  • Sunday, July 28 through Friday, August 2 from 9 p.m. until 5 a.m.
• Southbound I-35 right auxiliary lane closed nightly from US 183 to Huntland Drive
  • Sunday, July 28 through Friday, August 2 from 9 p.m. until 5 a.m.
• Northbound I-35 reduced to one lane nightly from 51st Street to St. Johns Avenue
  • Sunday, July 28 through Tuesday, July 30 from 10 p.m. until 5 a.m.
• Southbound I-35 reduced to one lane nightly from US 183 to US 290 East
  • Sunday, July 28 through Friday, August 2 from 10 p.m. until 5 a.m.
• St. Johns Avenue bridge closed at I-35
  • Through late summer 2019
• South to northbound I-35 U-turn closed at US 183

• Powell Lane closed at I-35

I-35 AT OLTORF STREET

• Southbound I-35 right lane closed between Woodland Avenue and Oltorf Street. The Woodland Avenue entrance ramp will also be closed.
  • Sunday, July 28 from 9 p.m. until 5 a.m.
• Northbound I-35 frontage road left lane closed at Oltorf Street. The Oltorf Street exit ramp will also be closed.

• Northbound I-35 left lane closed nightly from Woodward Street to Oltorf Street
  • Sunday, July 28 through Tuesday, July 30 from 9 p.m. until 5 a.m.
• Northbound I-35 frontage road closures nightly from Woodward Street to Oltorf Street. The Oltorf Street exit and entrance ramps will also be closed.
  • Monday, July 29 through Wednesday, July 31 from 9 p.m. until 5 a.m.
• East and westbound Oltorf Street closures nightly at I-35
  • Wednesday, July 31 through Friday, August 2 from 9 p.m. until 5 a.m.

I-35 FROM STASSNEY LANE TO WILLIAM CANNON DRIVE

• Southbound I-35 frontage road closed nightly from Foremost Drive to Slaughter Lane. The Slaughter Lane exit (#228) will also be closed.

• Southbound I-35 frontage road left lane closed nightly between Little Texas Lane and William Cannon Drive
  • Sunday, July 28 through Tuesday, July 30 from 8 p.m. until 5 a.m.
• Northbound I-35 frontage road left lane closed daily at Boggy Creek Drive
  • Monday, July 29 through Friday, August 2 from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m.

• Northbound I-35 right lane closed from Onion Creek Parkway to Slaughter Lane. The Slaughter Lane exit (#228) will also be closed.

I-35 AT POSEY ROAD

• Northbound I-35 exit ramps at Posey Road (#199) and Centerpoint Road (#200) are closed. The southbound I-35 entrance ramp south of Posey Road is also closed.
