Interstate 35 Lane Closures For Sept. 7-13, 2019

AUSTIN, TX — Texas Department of Transportation officials have released their latest list of Interstate 35 road closures, providing a helpful traveling guide for the motoring public in the process. This list enables drivers to know in advance where there might be construction-fueled congestion, enabling them plot out alternate routes for more seamless travel.

The latest list is for Sept. 7-13.

I-35 FROM CORN HILL (BUD STOCKTON LOOP) TO FM 972

• North and southbound I-35 frontage road reduced to one lane from FM 972 to Bud Stockton Loop
  • Until further notice

I-35 FROM RM 1431 TO FM 3406 (NORTHBOUND)

• Northbound I-35 frontage road reduced to one lane from FM 3406 (Old Settlers Boulevard) to RM 1431 (University Boulevard)
  • Through late 2020

I-35 AT PARMER LANE

• Southbound I-35 frontage road left two lanes closed at Parmer Lane
  • Monday, Sep. 9 from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m.

I-35 AT RUNDBERG TO US 290 EAST

• Southbound I-35 right two lanes closed nightly between US 183 and Huntland Drive
  • Sunday, Sep. 8 through Monday, Sep. 9 from 9 p.m. until 5 a.m.
• Northbound I-35 right two lanes closed nightly between US 290 East and St. Johns Avenue
  • Sunday, Sep. 8 through Thursday, Sep. 12 from 9 p.m. until 5 a.m.
• North and southbound I-35 frontage road left lane closed between St. Johns Avenue and Huntland Drive
  • Monday, Sep. 9 through Friday, Sep. 13 from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m.
• Southbound I-35 reduced to two lanes nightly between St. Johns Avenue and Huntland Drive
  • Tuesday, Sep. 10 through Thursday, Sep. 12 from 10 p.m. until 5 a.m.
• South to northbound I-35 U-turn closed at US 183
  • Until further notice

I-35 FROM STASSNEY LANE TO WILLIAM CANNON DRIVE

• Southbound I-35 frontage road left lane closed at Stassney Lane (#229) closed. The Stassney Lane exit ramp is also closed.
  • Sunday, Sep. 8 from 9 p.m. 12 a.m.
• Southbound I-35 reduced to one lane between William Cannon Drive and Slaughter Lane
  • Sunday, Sep. 8 through Monday, Sep. 9 from 9 p.m. until 1 a.m.
• Northbound I-35 reduced to one lane at William Cannon Drive. The William Cannon Drive entrance ramp is also closed.
  • Monday, Sep. 9 from 1 a.m. until 5 a.m.
• Southbound I-35 frontage road left lane is closed at William Cannon Drive. The William Cannon Drive exit ramp (#228) is also closed.
  • Monday, Sep. 9 from 9 p.m. until 12 a.m.
• Southbound I-35 frontage road closed between Boggy Creek Drive and Nelms Drive
  • Tuesday, Sep. 10 from 12 a.m. until 5 a.m.
• Southbound I-35 frontage road closed at William Cannon Drive
  • Tuesday, Sep. 10 from 9 p.m. until 12 a.m.
• Northbound I-35 reduced to one lane between Slaughter Lane and William Cannon Drive. The southbound William Cannon Drive exit ramp (#228) is also closed.
  • Tuesday, Sep. 10 through Thursday, Sep. 12 from 9 p.m. until 5 a.m.
• Northbound I-35 frontage road left lane closed between the William Cannon Drive exit ramp (#228) and William Cannon Drive

• Northbound I-35 frontage road reduced to one lane between the William Cannon Drive entrance ramp and Stassney Lane

I-35 AT POSEY ROAD

• Northbound I-35 exit ramps at Posey Road (#199) and Centerpoint Road (#200) are closed. The southbound I-35 entrance ramp south of Posey Road is also closed.
