List Of Interstate 35 Lane Closures Through Friday, Dec. 21, 2018

AUSTIN, TEXAS — Start your week off on the right path by knowing in advance which lanes will be closed for repair or re-striping so you don't get caught in congestion. The Texas Department of Transportation offers its weekly list of lane closures to help you navigate around traffic hot spots.

Here is that latest list from TxDot, for lane closures through Friday, Dec. 21.

I-35 AT COUNTY ROAD 305

• I-35 frontage road left lane closed in both directions at County Road 305
  • Through early 2019

I-35 AT FM 3406

• Southbound I-35 reduced to one lane, and northbound I-35 left lane closed at FM 3406
  • From 9 p.m. until 5 a.m. Sunday, Dec. 16
• Look for closures on the I-35 frontage roads in each direction at FM 3406
  • From 8 p.m. until 5 a.m. Monday, Dec. 17 through Wednesday, Dec. 19
• Northbound I-35 reduced to one lane at FM 3406
  • From 9 p.m. until 5 a.m. Monday, Dec. 17 through Wednesday, Dec. 19

I-35 FROM RUNDBERG LANE TO US 290 EAST

• St. Johns Avenue reduced to one lane in both directions across I-35
  • Until further notice
• Look for a slow moving rolling closure of the main lanes and frontage roads in both directions at East Huntland Drive
  • From 6 a.m. until 9 a.m. Sunday, Dec. 16
• Fenelon Drive closed at the northbound I-35 frontage road. Use Hermitage Drive or Rutherford Lane
  • Closed from 9 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 16 until 5 p.m. Friday, Dec. 21
• Northbound I-35 two right lanes closed between U.S. 290 East and St. Johns Avenue
  • From 9 p.m. until 5 a.m. Sunday, Dec. 16 and Monday, Dec. 17
• I-35 south to northbound turnaround closed at US 183
  • From 9 p.m. until 5 a.m. Sunday, Dec. 16 through Thursday, Dec. 20
• Southbound I-35 frontage road intermittently closed between Blackson Avenue and St. Johns Avenue Follow detour signs.
  • From 9 p.m. until 5 a.m. Sunday, Dec. 16 through Thursday, Dec. 20
• I-35 left lane closed in both directions between US 290 East and U.S. 183
  • From 9 p.m. until 5 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 18 through Thursday, Dec. 20
• Northbound I-35 entrance ramp between U.S.183 and Rundberg Lane closed
  • Until noon Saturday, Dec. 15

I-35 AT OLTORF STREET

• Watch for flaggers northbound I-35 frontage road between Royal Hill Lane and Oltorf Street
  • From 8 p.m. until 5 a.m. Tuesday, December 18 and Wednesday, December 19
• Northbound I-35 frontage road left lane closed between SH 71 and Woodward Street
  • From 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. Monday, Dec. 17 through Thursday, Dec. 20

I-35 FROM STASSNEY LANE TO WILLIAM CANNON DRIVE

• Alternating closures I-35 frontage roads in each direction between Slaughter Lane and U.S. 290/Ben White Boulevard
  • From 8 p.m. until 5 a.m. Sunday, Dec. 16
• Northbound I-35 frontage road right lane closed between William Cannon Drive and Nelms Drive
  • From 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. Monday, Dec. 17 through Friday, Dec. 21
• Southbound I-35 frontage road left lane closed between Colonial Park and Williamson Creek
  • From 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. Monday, Dec. 17 through Friday, Dec. 21
• Southbound I-35 frontage road left lane closed after William Cannon Drive
  • From 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. Monday, Dec. 17 through Friday, Dec. 21
• Southbound I-35 frontage road left lane closed between Stassney Lane and William Cannon Drive
  • From 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. Monday, Dec. 17 through Friday, Dec. 21, and 8 p.m. until 5 a.m. Monday through Thursday night.
• I-35 reduced to one lane in each direction between US 290/SH 71 and Slaughter Lane
  • From 10 p.m. until 5 a.m. Monday, Dec. 17 through Thursday, Dec. 20
• Northbound I-35 frontage road right lane closed between Boggy Creek Drive and William Cannon Drive
  • From 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. Monday, Dec. 17 through Friday, Dec. 21
• William Cannon Drive closed across I-35
  • From 8 p.m. until 5 a.m. Sunday, Dec. 16 through Thursday, Dec. 20

I-35 MAINTENANCE PROJECTS

• North and southbound I-35 left lane closed between Grand Avenue Parkway and Hesters Crossing
  • From 9 p.m. until 5 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 18
• North and southbound I-35 exit ramps will close between Manor and Holly Street. One ramp will close at a time.
  • From 9 p.m. until 5 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 18 and Wednesday, Dec. 19
• Southbound I-35 entrance ramp from 6th Street closed
  • From 3 a.m. until 5 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 19
