Someone In East Texas Wins $24.75 Million Lotto Texas Prize
Someone in the tiny East Texas town matched all the winning digits, lowering next prize to a comparatively paltry $5 million.

AUSTIN, TX — A lucky winner matched all the numbers needed to secure the $24.75 million prize on Saturday, Dec. 2, meaning that the next drawing will be for a comparatively paltry $5 million.
The winning numbers for Saturday, Dec. 2, 2017, were: 12-15-17-31-38-47. According to the Texas Lottery Commission, the winning ticket was purchased in Marlin, Texas, at the Evans Express Lube store at 701 Live Oak St.
The cash option on that winning ticket is $17.3 million, which means that another multimillionaire has been in Texas. But it's still worth playing again on Wednesday, Dec. 6, when the cash option will be $3,5 million.

Marlin is a tiny little town in East Texas with a population of just under 6,000 people in the 2010 census. The city has been the third county seat of Falls County, and is known from its nickname of the "hot mineral water city of Texas" after mineral waters were first found there in 1892.

AUSTIN, TX — We won't beat around the bush. The winning Lotto Texas numbers for Wednesday, Nov. 28, 2017 are: 6-12-30-33-45-51. But there's just one thing: Nobody matched all those numbers.
What this means, of course, is that the prize will roll over to the next drawing scheduled for Saturday, Dec. 2, 2017. The winner taking the cash option over the annual annuities (which is most people, let's face it) will reap $17.3 million.
Despite the fact no one matched all six numbers on Wednesday, it's still advisable to check one's tickets. Smaller prizes are awarded to those players matching as few as two digits. Here's some more helpful information from the Texas Lottery Commission:
- In the case of a discrepancy between these numbers and the official drawing results, the official drawing results will prevail. View the Webcast of the official drawings.
- Tickets must be claimed no later than 180 days after the draw date.
