AUSTIN, TX — Nobody matched the winning numbers at Saturday's Lotto Texas drawing, sparking a growth in the jackpot for Wednesday, Sept. 27, to a whopping $12 million.

Stated another way, the cash option for a winning ticket would be about $8.4 million. That's not Powerball money, to be sure. But we've said it before, and we'll state it again: This amount is nothing to sneeze at.

The winning numbers for Saturday, Sept. 23, were: 8-10-14-17-28-29.

As we've also stated before, we don't publish numbers nobody drew to rub it in people's faces that they didn't emerge as winners. We do so because there are smaller prizes given for matching as few as two digits, so you might want to check that ticket before you crumble it up and throw it in the wastebasket in frustration.
