Lyft Offers Texas Longhorns Fans Safe Travel To Football Games

AUSTIN, TX — Football season is upon us in earnest, and fans will be traveling to catch the action. Thanks to Lyft, fans needn't worry about paying for expensive parking costs or worry about having that extra celebratory beer or getting stuck in traffic.

Why? Because the ride-sharing firm has unveiled its Ride Smart Game Day initiative for this weekend, providing Texas Longhorns fans with an easy and safe way to celebrate game day while focusing on the fun.

Partnering with Bud Light, Lyft also will offer rewards to football fans traveling safely by offering discounted rides to every University of Texas home football game this season. Longhorns fans can claim their discounted ride to the LSU game here, by applying the code SAFERIDETEXAS2 in the Lyft app, or going to go.lyft.com/ridesmart.

Moreover, Lyft also has a designated Pick-up and Drop-off location at 17th and Trinity to reduce congestion and help passengers can easily find their ride.
