Man Killed After Car Hits Fixed Object In Spicewood
Incident occurred just before 8:30 p.m.on Monday night along Paleface Ranch Road, Austin-Travis County EMS medics said via Twitter.
AUSTIN, TX — A man was pronounced dead after crashing into a fixed object on Monday evening in Spicewood, Texas, according to Austin medics.
The incident occurred just before 8:30 p.m. along Paleface Ranch Road, Austin-Travis County EMS medics said via Twitter. Medics said the sole occupant in the vehicle, a man of undetermined age, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Austin-Travis County EMS were joined on the call along their rescue counterparts with the Pedernales Fire Department, according to a tweet.

Emergency crews closed the area for some time in the wreck's aftermath, both to accommodate a police investigation and for road cleanup. Motorists were urged to avoid the area altogether if at all possible.
Spicewood is located about 35 miles northwest of Austin.
