Man Struck, Killed By Train In South Austin
Victim was pronounced dead by medics making the scene at the intersection of Banister Lane and Garden Villa Lane.
AUSTIN, TX — A man was struck and killed by a train just before midnight in South Austin on Monday, medics said.
The incident occurred at the intersection of Banister Lane and Garden Villa Lane, according to Austin-Travis County EMS medics. Medics pronounced the victim, who was on foot, dead at the scene.
Medics did not provide an estimate of the victim's age as they customarily do. No further details were released.
