Man Suffers Life-Threatening Wounds In South Austin Shooting

AUSTIN, TX — A man sustained life-threatening injuries in a shooting Wednesday evening on the south part of the city.
The adult male victim was shot along the 1200 block of Mariposa Drive just before 6:30 p.m., according to Austin-Travis County EMS medics. The patient was transported to a local trauma center with critical, life-threatening injuries.
