Search For Missing Teen Girl Launched In Austin

AUSTIN, TX — Police seek help from the public in locating a missing 16-year-old teenage girl last seen on Monday afternoon.
Sierra Symone Brown, 16, was last seen on foot walking from the Staybridge Suites hotel, 1611 Airport Commerce Dr., in Central Austin just after 1:30 p.m., police said in a press advisory issued just past midnight on Tuesday. Police said the girl could be in the East Riverside Drive area near East Ben White Boulevard.
Unspecified medical conditions heighten concern over the missing girl's welfare, police said.

the girl is descried as African American standing five feet, seven inches tall and weighing 170 pounds. She has shoulder-length black hair, brown eyes and braces on her teeth. She was last seen wearing a red windbreaker, gray tights and tan-colored ankle boots.
Police also released photos of the girl in the hopes someone might recognize her and alert as to her whereabouts.
