Doh! Nickel City In East Austin Transforms Into Moe's Tavern

EAST AUSTIN, TX — Doh! The East Austin bar Nickel City has been transformed into Moe's Tavern from "The Simpsons" cartoon television show for the second year in a row timed for a charitable fundraiser.

Bar operators on social media revealed the makeover along with "drink specials galore" ahead of its Happy Howl'Ween event benefiting Austin Pets Alive! Nickel City officials splashed the announcement on Instagram while self-deprecatingly announcing an accompanying Delray Cafe offering "slightly more edible" fare.
