Kickoff time, TV, point spread, tickets, parking, traffic and more.

AUSTIN, TX -- Texas continued its Renaissance on Saturday with a resounding 41-7 victory over the University of Texas El Paso.

Quarterback Shane Buechele enjoyed an efficient game with a 22 of 27 passing performance for 244 yards. He added 4 touchdowns and no interceptions. Couple his efforts with the Longhorns’ 171 rushing yards and coach Charlie Strong has multiple reasons to feel confident heading into the team’s first road game of the season.

Strong’s defense will be tested by California’s high-octane offense that has scored 91 points in two games. Leading the way for the Golden Bears is quarterback Davis Webb, who attempted an astounding 72 passes Saturday for 522 yards. He added 5 touchdowns but also threw 3 interceptions in the 45-40 defeat against San Diego State. On the defensive side of the ball, the Bears are much less impressive, having allowed 76 points in its two matchups with Hawaii and the Aztecs.

With both teams featuring offenses that can put up points and Texas’s defense having been lit up by Notre Dame in Week 1, this game figures to be high scoring. Texas possesses the more proficient ground game, which could help neutralize Cal’s offense by limiting the Bears’ time on the field.
