Officer-Involved Traffic Accident Prompts Street Closure In North Austin
Law enforcement officials haven't revealed injury status, but urge motorists to avoid the area.

NORTH AUSTIN, TX -- An Austin Police Department officer was involved in a traffic accident Thursday afternoon, prompting street closures.
The APD issued an advisory via Twitter just before 12:30 p.m. Details are scant, but APD reports the accident occurred at the intersection of Burnet and Ohlen roads, and involved two vehicles.
Police did not immediately detail if there were any injuries in the two-injury crash. The intersection is currently closed at Ohlen Road, although southbound Burnet Road remains open, police said.
