Officials Alert To Upcoming Street Closures Around UT-Austin
Areas around Guadalupe, MLK will close as work crews remove a crane related to construction at Rowling Hall, officials said.

AUSTIN — University of Texas at Austin officials on Wednesday alerted those using the campus to some upcoming road closures around campus.
On Friday, June 9, work crews are scheduled to close various lanes in the vicinity of Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard and Guadalupe Street beginning at 10 a.m. As a result, the westbound right-turn lane on MLK will be closed from Whitis Avenue to Guadalupe.
Moreover, the northbound far right lane of Guadalupe will be closed from MLK through the 20th Street intersection.Additionally, 20th Street will be closed to through traffic between Guadalupe and Whitis.

But there is light across the construction horizon: All lanes will be opened by 5 a.m. Monday, June 12, university officials said.
These lane closures are related to the removal of a crane used in the construction of Rowling Hall at The University of Texas at Austin, officials said.
