One Twitter user, Jon Flowers, posted a photo of the site showing the intersection blocked off to traffic. Police appear to be investigating the crash, cordoning off the entire area to accommodate their work.
After a pretty significant pedestrian / car collision looks like they are blocking off the entire Lavaca / 5th Street intersection for awhile. Caution tape going up now. Real mess down there. #atx #atxtraffic pic.twitter.com/9OWpFmiFub
