Pedestrian Killed Along Interstate 35 Service Road
A man was pronounced dead on Thursday evening after being struck by a car at William Cannon Drive and the I-35 service road.
AUSTIN, TX — A pedestrian was killed along an Interstate 35 service road on Thursday evening, medics said.
The traffic fatality occurred at William Cannon Drive at the I-35 southbound service road. The man who was hit by a car there was pronounced dead at the scene, medics said in a tweet posted just before 7:45 p.m.
Medics noted there were closures in the area to accommodate a police investigation, urging motorists to avoid the area altogether. No further details were disclosed.
