Pedestrian Seriously Hurt Along Interstate 35: Austin EMS
Austin-Travis County EMS says the victim, a woman in her 50s, sustained potentially life-threatening injuries after being hit by car.
AUSTIN, TX — A pedestrian sustained potentially life-threatening injuries after being struck by a car along Interstate 35 on Saturday night, medics said.
The incident occurred just before 9 p.m. along the 3600 block of I-35, according to a tweet by Austin-Travis County EMS. The victim, a woman in her 50s, was transported to Dell Seton Medical Center with injuries described as serious and potentially life-threatening.
The incident resulted in significant traffic delays in the areas as crews worked to clear the scene. No further details were released.
