Police Seek Suspect In South Austin Bank Robbery
Well Fargo Bank branch at 1825 S. Pleasant Valley Rd. was held up on Tuesday, Oct., 15, by a man who later fled the scene.
AUSTIN, TX — Police seek help from the public in locating a suspect in a South Austin bank robbery this week.
The incident occurred around 3:45 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct., 15, at the Wells Fargo Bank branch, 1825 S. Pleasant Valley Rd. The suspect entered the bank before presenting a note demanding money and then leaving on foot, according to a police press advisory. There were no injuries reported.
The suspect is a white male standing at five feet, six inches, and weighing about 180 pounds. He is of medium build, and is believed to be in his mid-40s, police said. The suspect was last seen wearing a surgical mask, dark-colored baseball cap, dark-colored jacket, tan pants and black Nike canvas shoes.
