Pulled Fire Alarm At Austin Airport Sparks Alarm

Austin-Bergstrom International Airport officials said fire crews responded to the alarm before the hub was deemed safe Friday evening.

AUSTIN, TX — A fire alarm that was pulled at the Austin airport prompted a brief evacuation before the situation was deemed safe on Friday evening.

Austin-Bergstrom International Airport officials said the Austin Fire Department responded to the alarm before the hub was deemed safe.

"At this time, the fire alarm has been cancelled and normal operations can resume," officials wrote just after 5:30 p.m.
