Rain Expected in Austin Area Sunday: NWS

A hazardous weather outlook is in effect for Sunday before the weather clears Monday.

A hazardous weather outlook is in effect for much of South Central Texas including Travis and Williamson counties Sunday morning.

According to the National Weather Service, the forecast calls for a chance of showers and storms before 10 a.m. that will move into Southeast Texas this morning. It will remain cloudy through mid morning before gradually clearing.

Currently, there is a 60 percent chance of precipitation.

Moving ahead with the week, the forecast calls for sunny skies with a slight chance of showers on Tuesday.
