Reel Rock Film Tour Returns To Austin

The 14th iteration of the adventure film tour kicking off Nov. 19 will include a new film with climbing legend Alex Honnold.

AUSTIN, TX — The world’s most popular adventure film tour, REEL ROCK 14, is coming to Austin next week.

The cinematic tour kicking off on Nov. 19 will include a new film with climbing legend and "Free Solo" star Alex Honnold.

In "The Nose Speed Record," Honnold and Tommy Caldwell attempt to break a speed climb record up the nose of El Cap. In "The High Road," In "The High Road," Nina Williams negotiates around some of the highest, most difficult boulders for climbers. And "In The United States of Joe’s," climbers collide with a conservative coal mining community in rural Utah with surprising results.

The Austin event will be presented locally by Crux Climbing Center at AFS Cinema at 7 p.m.
