AUSTIN, TX — Austin is ranked the sixth- most dynamic city in America, according to a new study.

The report released by Point2 Homes, a real estate portal supporting home searchers in the U.S., Canada, and international locations, assessed the nation's 150 most populous cities before identifying the top performers in terms of growth and progress. To achieve the rankings, each city was ranked with 18 indicators, grouped into four main dimensions: Human Capital, Education and Culture, Economic Activity and Housing.

Then, researchers weighted the scores attributed to each indicator to reflect their importance on a 120-point scale, researchers said. Once all the data was soused out, Austin emerged as the 6th most dynamic among the municipalities.
