SAN ANTONIO, TX -- A garbage collector died Tuesday morning after being crushed by trash compactor.Bexar County Sheriff's Office officials said the Metro Waste Systems employee was found at about 10:15 a.m., <a href="http://www.ksat.com/news/garbage-collector-dies-in-trash-compactor" rel="noopener nofollow" target="_blank">KSAT-TV</a> reported. The incident occurred in the 1300 block of Dezarae.It's unclear how the worker ended up inside the truck, officials said.A resident told the news station she had seen the man picking up trash bins before he was crushed. Then, she noticed a commotion surrounding the truck moments later when the man was found. Sheriff's deputies were attempting to locate relatives of the man to alert them of his death.
