AUSTIN, TX — A man riding an electric scooter sustained critical injuries after being struck by a car in East Austin on Sunday afternoon, medics said.
Austin-Travis County EMS medics reported the incident at Calles and Hidalgo streets just after 2 p.m. The victim, a man in his 40s, sustained injuries deemed critical and life-threatening. He was being treated at Dell Seton Medical Center, medics added.
