AUSTIN, TX — In these uncertain and divisive times, there is but one thing to do: Dance! Dance like you've never danced before! The opportunity for such expression is coming to Austin in a big way with the Seismic Dance Event.

Details on the RealMusic Events marquee festival were just sent to Patch's email in box after organizers came off a "transformable" year that saw its continued upward trajectory. As a result, the Seismic Dance Event is returning for a special one-off Spring Edition from May 22-23.

The parking lot of the Austin American-Statesman newspaper will be transformed into a giant dancing floor where participants can gyrate with wild abandon. Property owners recently announced a redevelopment of the site off Congress Avenue, yielding the dance event's organizers a chance to show what it would look like to have a spring festival.

An attached video gives a glimpse into the fun dancing times, prompting Patch to almost walk away from the keyboard, crank up the techno music and give oneself to dance. But duty calls, so we stay to provide more details on this unique, upcoming event.
