SH 71 Closures For Repaving Work Scheduled This Weekend
SH 71 between Hazy Hills Drive and Haystack Cove in western Travis County will be undergoing improvements on Saturday, Sunday.

AUSTIN – Traffic will be reduced to one lane in each direction on SH 71 this weekend, as crews put pavement on the travel lanes between Hazy Hills Drive and Haystack Cove, state transportation officials said on Friday.
Traffic will be affected from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. on Saturday and 7 a.m. until 5 p.m. on Sunday. Crews are working to complete the resurfacing work during the day after being delayed in recent weeks by rain and colder nighttime temperatures.
Drivers are encouraged to allow extra travel time during these hours, as delays are expected. TxDOT asks the traveling public to be patient and remain aware when traveling through the work zone. Road conditions and traffic updates are available at DriveTexas.org.
