Shia LaBeouf Arrested For Public Intoxication in Austin
The former Disney star was arrested Friday evening.

UPDATE:
According the the arrest affidavit, LaBeouf walked across the street during a “Don’t Walk” sign as an officer tried to turn at the corner of East 6th Street and San Jacinto Boulevard. He continued walking across and lifted his hand, appearing to signal for traffic to stop.
The officer flashed his emergency lights to question LaBeouf. Buff visually acknowledged the officer, “looking straight at him and raised his hands waist high while taking six backward steps.” He turned away as the officer exited the patrol car. LaBeouf walked back after the officer ordered him to stop. According to the affidavit, his speech was slurred and “his eyes were glassy and dilated.”
As the officer spoke with LaBeouf, he said that when he is stopped by Los Angeles police, he typically walks away because “police had killed a friend of his.” The affidavit said he became “increasingly confrontational, aggravated, profane and verbally aggressive,” calling the officer a “silly man” three times.
The officer also said he puffed his chest and started walking toward a witness who was filming the transaction. The affidavit said he then began puffing his chest at the officer, as well.

Actor Shia LaBeouf was arrested in Downtown Austin Friday night for public intoxication, police said.
LaBeouf, 29, was arrested just after 7:30 p.m. at the intersection of 6th Street and San Jacinto Boulevard. No further details on his arrest were released.
This is not LaBeouf’s first run-in with the law. He was arrested by police in New York in June 2014 for “using obscene language, spitting on a police officer and refusing to leave a theatrical performance when asked.” He settled the charges by agreeing to get alcohol abuse treatment.
The actor came to prominence during his role as Louis Stevens on the Disney show “Even Stevens”.
